Walking together in remembrance, led by drum and song.

Yesterday, students and staff walked in honour of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S).
With the sound of drums and rattles carrying a song of remembrance, students from the Nikaniwin program and invited guests moved together in silence and reflection.
At the lake, the group gathered in ceremony and made an offering to the water — a gesture of respect, healing, and hope.
A Red dress has been hung in our hallway as witness to the lives stolen and the voices silenced; a visual reminder of the thousands of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-Spirit and gender-diverse people.
We walk to remember.
We walk for justice.
We walk for healing.
