BMC Parent Advisory Committee aims to:

  1. Develop and support sports, cultural, curriculum, and healthy living programs at Buck Mountain Central School.

  2. Expand the BMC School funding available for activities within and outside the school.

  3. Keep fees as low as possible to provide opportunities for all students to experience sports, culture & outside activities.

  4. To provide ongoing financial support for our students, teachers and school.

  5. Develop in all students; leadership talents and abilities.

  6. Help foster a sense of pride for our school, staff and programs that can improve our school.

It is our intention that our small rural school provide not only the basic education for our children, but to be able to give students and parents a school that has unlimited possibilities.  If we can dream it, can we fund it?

Parent Advisory Committee Meeting

Volunteers Needed!

The BMC fundraising society has been given a ‘Chuck A Puck’ opportunity at the December 15th Oil Kings game.  We will need 12-15 workers with at least 12 adults – kids can come to help.  We will be selling the pucks to be thrown out onto the ice for a prize of $250 for the closest to the center.  We receive the remainder.  So we need workers/sellers for this event!

The game is against Calgary, a family event and we need to be at Rogers Place about 2pm for the 4pm game start time.

Please call Chris at 780-682-2165 to volunteer to work this event.

The BMC Parent Fundraising Committee is using Fundscrip to fund raise for our school. FundScrip is an established, Canada-wide fundraising program in which your supporters pay for their shopping (groceries, gas, home & garden, entertainment, restaurants, and much more) with gift cards. Each purchase automatically includes a donation to your cause.

To support us please visit and enter the invitation code ZYSMHQ.
