Buck Mountain Central School Grade 7 Orientation - June 11th, 2019

Dear Grade 6 Student,

You are invited to come visit Buck Mountain Central School for a quick orientation in order to better prepare you for grade 7 in the fall. We will provide you with a lunch (hot dogs) and a fun filled afternoon getting to know staff, students, and our campus.

Please complete the attached permission form and return it to your school office by June 5th, 2019.

Transportation will be provided however, if parents wish to pick students up from BMC, please let us know by including a note on your permission form.

Here is an outline of what the visit will look like:

12:00 Welcome
Winfield students - lunch provided.

12:30 Welcome & Introductions
Alder Flats students - lunch provided.
Create teams for Activity

12:45 Activity
We hope to be outdoors for an activity led by grade 11 and 12 students!

2:00 Classroom Presentation
Greetings from staff
Review Handouts - BMC policies and practices
Complete options choices for the fall.

3:00 Question Time
BMC staff will answer any questions students may have. This would be a good time for any parents who wish to pick up students from BMC to join us.

3:18 Travel back to WF/AF
Students will travel back to their elementary school via BMC transfer busses and will return home on their regular busses.
