The Winfield and District Agricultural Society Will Be Awarding 2 Scholarships.

The Winfield and District Agricultural Society will be awarding 2 scholarships annually in the amount of $1000 each to the successful students.  While you may only win the scholarship one time, you may apply for at least two years after graduating from high school, and you may wish to contact the donor if you wish to apply after this time.

Please answer the questions on the following page in point form. Keep in mind we are looking for a well rounded individual and our decision will be based on your community, activity, and school involvement.

Also, please include a business letter outlining your career goals, where and what you have applied for, and telling us why you deserve this scholarship. This letter will be limited to 1 page.

Applicants must be graduating from the Buck Mountain Central High School attendance area and have applied for a post secondary institution.

Applications must be mailed to the Winfield Ag Society, Box 131, Winfield by March 15 of your Grade 12 year. Scholarship will awarded at the graduation ceremony and monies will be received when you have provided official confirmation of enrolment and attendance.
